1. What is your sweetest memory with someone?
I've spent the last hour trying to think of this one... I have a lot of great memories with people; my wife, my brothers, my friends. It's hard to pinpoint one specific memory that would be the 'sweetest' per se. One memory that ranks very highly, and very close to my heart is when I flew to Queensland to visit my grandfather about 2-3 years ago. He had cancer and not long to live, the whole of his family (Dads family) was up there, Dad had flown up earlier, and I met up with him. We went and visited him a few times, but the last time we visited him before we left (we were only there a couple of days), as we left, Dad was last to leave the hospital, he had tears in his eyes. It has been the only time to this date I have ever seen my father in tears. Just typing this has reduced me to tears for some reason. It was probably the most humbling moment of my life.
2. Where do you see yourself in five years time?
Well, gosh, 5 years time I'll be 31 - gosh that's scary. I honestly don't know where I'd be in 5 years, as Sally and I have never been anywhere longer than 3 years. I'd like to hope we've managed to settle in Canberra, where we're looking to move in the next few months. I also hope we've had our first child. Sadly we have to resort to IVF, as we've not been successful the natural way in the last 4 years - that may change of course, but in the near forseable future, IVF is the best chance. It's hard to imagine what it'd be like to be a father, I guess I'll have to wait and find out.
3. If you could change anything, what would you change?
I've got no idea... but I guess if I could change something, one would be petrol prices. They are just insane at the moment. I know people in Europe have it tougher, but geez, I can remember when the price was half of what it is now.
4. Have you ever surprised your friends by acting out of character? If so, please describe.
I can't say that I think I have... Sorry to disappoint ;)
5. If you were to describe yourself in a single sentence, that sentence would be....
"A caring person, who loves having fun, with a tendancy to be lazy and lose his temper easily". That's me to a 'T'. ;)
